Henry Theeßen

Management Consultant

How did I become a member of the kothes team?

During my studies, I stumbled across a job advertisement from kothes in my university's job board. I started as a student trainee in application development where I was responsible for developing scripts and automations for systems, such as COSIMA go!
In addition to exciting work in software development, I began to take on additional tasks with more customer contact, gave training courses and conducted workshops. The move to IT consulting at kothes was the logical next step.
In 2022, I took an interesting detour into software development as a product owner and project manager at another company, but in 2024 I was drawn back to kothes.

What do I like about my job?

I enjoy working with people, whether it's with my fantastic colleagues at kothes or with our customers on site. At kothes, I have the opportunity to solve problems through direct communication, develop new concepts and play a direct role in shaping the future delivery of technical information. That motivates me every day.

What are my professional goals at kothes?

Technical writing is currently caught in the fascinating tension between pressure to innovate and powerful new tools. As a content delivery consultant, I help our customers successfully navigate this balancing act.
My main area of responsibility is the creation and implementation of content delivery concepts. To do this, I take a holistic view of our clients' requirements and work with them to determine how their company's technical information can be delivered to the end user quickly, digitally and tailored to their specific needs. This can range from a new export option in the editorial system to the introduction of a new portal.
In addition to classic content delivery, GenAI is increasingly becoming the focus of digital provision. As a consultant, I closely follow the development of all these new possibilities and provide support for the safe and compliant use of AI.
