How did I become a member of the kothes team?
Since completing a degree in Industrial Engineering in Utrecht, one theme has consistently accompanied me: Preparing complex content in such a way that people can grasp it quickly and use it effectively. Since 1994, this passion has kept me immersed in the world of technical documentation and training.
In 2016, I joined kothes and have since worked predominantly from my home in the Allgäu at an altitude of 838 metres. At the same time, I regularly visit customers on site and stay in close contact with colleagues whenever projects and coordination require it.
Today, I work at kothes as business development manager.
What do I like about my job?
I am fascinated by the interface between the realities of our customers and the solutions we can offer: Listening, truly understanding requirements and jointly finding ways that work in everyday practice. I find situations particularly exciting when processes come to a standstill – whether due to limited resources, unclear responsibilities or flows of information that do not run smoothly through the company. Precisely at these points, a great deal can be achieved by creating clarity and remaining pragmatic.
I am also motivated by collaborating with colleagues who are technically strong, take responsibility, and remain open to further development. This exchange on an equal footing energises me and injects fresh impetus into my daily work.
What are my professional goals at kothes?
It is important to me to support customers in the long term and with reliability – with solutions that genuinely assist them in their day-to-day work. I want to help identify opportunities early, advance developments together and build relationships founded on trust, clarity and transparency.
For me, this also means picking up impulses from the market, bringing perspectives into the teams and improving continuously, together with colleagues and customers.
I want to advance ideas that create genuine added value – for the people who are responsible for documentation every day and for the companies that benefit from it.
