How did I become a member of the kothes team?

When I was a student, I worked for my university as a tutor and research assistant for several years until my final exam, after which I worked as a lecturer. I always knew

I wanted to pursue a university career.

It purely by accident that I came across the profession of technical editing. But the more I learned about it, the more I liked this “alternative”. Thanks to another lucky coincidence I joined a few technical documentation groups on XING and was immediately contacted by kothes. My world was turned upside-down in February 2016, when I was offered a place in a PhD course, and then the job at kothes.

What do I like about my job?

I listened to my gut and made the alternative my priority. I have been working for kothes as a technical editor and consultant since 2016, and added the job of project leader in 2018. I love the varied nature of my job. With each new project you immerse yourself in your customer’s world and quickly become an insider with information on new products, new industries, and new target audiences.

What are my professional goals at kothes?

At kothes I want to gather as much and varied editorial experience as possible and benefit from my colleagues’ trove of knowledge and know-how, so I can be a reliable partner for our customers as a consultant as well.
