smarty shows how it’s done

Let smarty teach you about the opportunities of “smart information”.

At kothes, the future of technical documentation has already begun: smarty demonstrates how augmented reality, combined with a sophisticated smart information concept, is revolutionising technical documentation.

Use smarty on the KS5000 to see how technical knowledge can be instantly available, absorbed, and comprehended through a mixture of media from both the real and virtual worlds. And you can do so from your own home: simply download the smarty construction kit, cut out smarty, put it together, download the apps – and you’re good to go.

And this is how it’s done:

1. smarty construction

Print out the construction kit, cut smarty out along the blue/black lines, and assemble or glue it in the order specified on the numbered tabs.

(Construction kit is only available in german language)

2. Register

3. Install apps

4. Start smarty

Start the smart space app, log in and call up the KS5000 operating manual by scanning the QR code on the underside of your smarty. You will find AR links in the “Overview” chapter and in many other sections of the manual. Call up one of the AR links, hold the camera of your iPhone or iPad onto your smarty, and you’re good to go.
