From 12 to 14 November this year's tekom annual conference will take place in Stuttgart and we'll be there again. As an exhibitor, we're looking forward to welcoming you to our new Stand in Hall C2 B06 at the trade fair, accompanying the conference.
We link the four pillars of our service portfolio, CONSULT – CREATE – TRANSLATE – PROVIDE, in order to form an intelligent network. We'd like to show you how well-designed information modules (i.e. topics) are transformed into information, with the aid of ontologies and artificial intelligence . From the user's perspective, this information is easy to understand, available in the right place and in the appropriate format.
Are you curious now? You're welcome to register with our code NWTZJaFB on the tekom website for a free admission ticket to the trade fair.
We'd like to recommend our contribution to the conference programme. Due to the overwhelming demand at the tekom spring conference, we're also able to offer the "Developing User-Centred Information Concepts with Design Thinking" workshop in Stuttgart. Every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., the participants develop an information concept, based on a real product. The speakers Christopher Rechtien (Innovation Manager), Christoph Beenen (IT Consultant) and Nina Schaub (Project Manager) will present various creative methods within an agile process. In this workshop, the participants will be encouraged to align the resulting information concept with user requirements. They'll learn how information concepts can emerge within agile processes such as Design Thinking and which methods and soft skills are relevant.
We'd also like to recommend the "Setting up voice assistants for user and service information" lecture. In the Service Arena, Christopher Rechtien will explain on Wednesday which steps are necessary so that voice assistants can also be used for user and service information. A prototypical voice assistant is used as an example to illustrate these steps.
And last but not least: there can be no smart information solutions without clever minds. On Tuesday, 12 November, our HR Officer Claudia Drießen would be happy to answer your career questions at our Stand. In addition, our Junior Technical Editor, Heiner Ahrens, will be at the careerHUB at 4:15 p.m. hosting an exchange with young Technical Editors with his "Peter Parker vs. Spider-Man – Challenges for Career Entry" lecture.
We're looking forward to exciting discussions and an interesting exchange of experiences. And if you're already planning your visit to the conference, then why not make an appointment with our colleague Astrid Huis in 't Veld (firstname.lastname@example.org) for a meeting with one of our Stand Advisors? It's worth it.
